Therapy and Trauma Intensives
Deep, Focused Healing
Traditional weekly therapy isn’t always the most effective path to healing. Many people find that just as they begin to dive into the real work, the session ends, and momentum is lost. Therapy intensives eliminate that stop-start cycle, allowing for deeper breakthroughs in a shorter period of time.
Why Choose an Intensive?
You feel stuck in regular therapy and want to accelerate your progress
You’re dealing with deep-rooted trauma that needs focused attention
You prefer a short-term, results-driven approach instead of long-term weekly sessions
You want to experience in days what would take months in traditional therapy
How It Works
Therapy intensives provide concentrated sessions that allow for deep exploration, processing, and healing. They can be structured in different ways, including:
Three-day intensive (7-8 hours per day)
Five-day intensive (3 hours per day)
Customized schedules (2-3 sessions per week for several weeks)
During an intensive, we focus on identifying patterns, uncovering limiting beliefs, and working through trauma responses in a way that builds momentum. By the end, we map out a clear plan for ongoing healing, whether that includes additional work with me or returning to your current therapist with new clarity and direction.
A Time-Efficient Approach
A single intensive can provide up to 24 hours of therapy, the equivalent of six months of weekly 50-minute sessions. By eliminating the slow buildup and session gaps, you can achieve profound shifts in less time.
Insurance & Payment
Most insurance plans do not cover intensive therapy, as they typically limit mental health coverage to one hour per day. Intensives are cash-pay only, but for those who can afford them, they offer flexibility and transformative results.
