Neurofeedback

Train Your Brain for Lasting Change

Your brain is constantly adapting and learning from the world around you. Neurofeedback helps you harness that ability, training your brain to function more efficiently - just like learning a new skill. Whether you struggle with anxiety, ADHD, brain fog, or trauma-related nervous system dysregulation, neurofeedback helps your brain regulate itself for improved focus, emotional stability, and resilience.

How It Works

Neurofeedback starts with a brain map, an EEG scan that measures electrical activity in different areas of your brain. This map helps identify areas that are overactive or underactive, guiding a personalized training plan.

Training sessions use real-time feedback to encourage your brain to create healthier patterns. While you watch a TV show or listen to music, the system rewards optimal brain activity by keeping the screen clear and the audio crisp. When your brain moves into less desirable patterns, the screen dims or sound fades, prompting your brain to self-correct - effortlessly and naturally.

What Neurofeedback Helps With

Neurofeedback works at the foundational level of brain function, addressing a wide range of concerns, including:

  • ADHD & Focus Issues

  • Anxiety & Ruminating Thoughts

  • Insomnia & Sleep Dysregulation

  • Cognitive Fog (from Long COVID, anesthesia, or chemotherapy)

  • Trauma & Nervous System Dysregulation

  • Post-Concussion Symptoms (light/sound sensitivity, brain fog, cognitive difficulties)

  • Performance Enhancement (for academics, sports, & high-pressure professions)

What to Expect

Step 1: Brain Mapping - A one-hour session where we place small sensors on your scalp to measure your brain activity. We review the results together and discuss a training plan tailored to your goals.

Step 2: Training Sessions - 30-minute sessions where you watch a show or listen to music while your brain is gently guided toward healthier patterns. Sessions are monitored by a trained technician, with adjustments made as needed.

Step 3: Progress & Results - Most clients notice small improvements within 6-7 sessions, with significant changes typically occurring around 18-20 sessions. The average program length is about 30 sessions, but results are long-lasting - unlike medication, which stops working when discontinued, neurofeedback creates lasting brain change.
